MKP (Potassium dihydrogen phosphate)
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, also known as KH2PO4, is an inorganic compound. It has deliquescent properties and melts into a transparent liquid when heated to 400°C. Upon cooling, it solidifies into an opaque glassy substance known as potassium phosphate monobasic. It is stable in air, soluble in water, and insoluble in ethanol. In industry, it is used as a buffering agent, a nutrient medium, a flavoring agent in the synthesis of sake using bacterial culture, a raw material for the production of potassium phosphate monobasic, a culture medium, a strengthening agent, a leavening agent, and a fermentation aid in brewing yeast, as well as an efficient phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer in agriculture. It is white crystal powder. PRODUCT APPLICATION A. In industry:it can be used as raw material to manufacturer potassium hexametaphosphate and other sylvites; culture of brewing yeast, enhancer, leavening agents and fermentation promoter, etc. B.
