Wirewound Common Mode Inductors

Wirewound Common Mode Inductors Wirewound common-mode inductors have the same enameled wire as unshielded inductors, which is left exposed. A wirewound common-mode inductor has two sets of wires in the same phase and the same number of turns in both sets. When a current is passed through them, they generate the same magnetic field in opposite directions and cancel each other out. Also if the two wire sets are wound on the same side, they will be wound in opposite directions, if they are wound on different sides, the direction is the same, both are clockwise. SMD wirewound inductors are generally small in size, high energy storage, high quality, and suitable for automated production. Wirewound common mode inductors are generally suitable for different noise and different signal frequencies, have good noise suppression, and have good drought resistance. Products are widely used in communications, humidifiers, alarms, audio/video processing and automotive electronics system…
